Context
As a UX Designer at Sage, I worked on several Copilot projects, including the Copilot Ecosystem.
Task
My task was to explore how Sage Copilot could be integrated into MS 365 products, with the goal of demonstrating its benefits for users of Outlook and Teams.
Actions
I developed several strong use cases. In the Outlook use case, when a user receives an email from a new customer, Sage Copilot would offer options to save the customer’s contact details directly into Sage, create and save a quote, or reply to the customer’s email with a quote. I created two versions of this flow: in the first version, Sage Copilot is part of the Outlook UI.
In the second version, it is presented in a side panel.
In the Teams use case, when colleagues discuss work and tasks that need to be done, Sage Copilot would interpret the conversation and suggest assigning a task to one of the team members. I designed these flows and collaborated with the Design System team to ensure compliance with the latest AI guidelines.
Results
I sought feedback throughout the process. Once the flows were ready, I created interactive prototypes and presented them. Some screens from these flows were used as examples in the Design System documentation.
